Matrix reimprinting is a powerful yet extremely gentle technique which combines EFT, quantum physics, morphic fields, soul retrieval and the Law of Attraction. It is essentially a simple yet transformational form of inner child work. It is cutting edge therapy as it includes so many of the most advanced trauma techniques and I rarely work with a client without incorporating this amazing practice.
Matrix Reimprinting is life changing because it gets to the root cause of our core beliefs which we make in our early years usually before the age of six. These beliefs underpin all of our current behaviours and experiences. So the question is, what do you believe about yourself?
This is so important because science has shown that not only do our beliefs actually alter our brain structure but our beliefs also attract our experiences. No amount of positive self talk will change core beliefs unless we access the subconscious and the morphic field, the matrix. These negative core beliefs set us up for failure. We begin to misinterpret situations to fit our expectations. Karl Dawson says “We’re always looking for confirmation that our beliefs are true”. Unfortunately we tend to find that confirmation, often by re-enacting the same bad experiences all throughout our lives. Once we reprogramme our core beliefs, we change our point of attraction which means we can then reclaim our lives to create the reality we truly want.
Matrix reimprinting is an advanced form of EFT or tapping. When we experience a trauma, a part of us splits off to contain the unbearable feelings so that we can carry on and survive. Basically we go into shock and we dissociate from our body. This way we never fully experience the trauma at that time but here’s what is not commonly known – the part of us that splits off never stops experiencing the trauma. That younger you is still there holding that trauma, still trapped in that event!
In matrix reimprinting, our younger self is referred to as an ECHO (Energetic Consciousness Hologram). Our ECHO is living and has its own independent consciousness and it is still holding onto that trauma from all those years ago. So if you had a traumatic experience when you were 4 years old, for example, your ECHO that split off still has the exact same 4 year old consciousness. Your younger self, your ECHO, would have formed a belief during that traumatic event. But here’s the real problem… when something in your life triggers that old memory, you may suddenly feel the 4 year old’s feelings. This is why we sometimes have a disproportionate reaction to events or intense emotions that don’t make sense.
With matrix reimprinting, we revisit a traumatic memory and help our younger self who is trapped in that memory and holding onto the trauma. By reassuring them and tapping on them, we release any stored trauma and create a new more positive belief. Because they’re frozen in time, often many decades ago, our ECHOs have access to memories that we’ve long since forgotten. They also may have ideas for what they’d like to happen that we would never think of! This therapy is very gentle to help with significant traumatic events as you do not connect in with the emotions that were felt that day. Instead your current self taps and comforts your younger self, the ECHO that experienced those events and is holding onto the trauma.
This has the advantage of the current ‘you’ being able to offer wisdom to the younger ‘you’. When uncomfortable things happened as children, we often believed it was the end of the world, yet if the current self can reassure the younger one that all is well, it can make a profound difference. As Karl Dawson who developed the technique explains, you become the director of the play, not just the actor. As the scene is replayed, different emotions, usually more positive ones, are felt and these can be ‘reimprinted’ into the scene. The consequence of this is that the beliefs that we make in moments of crisis, and which often then colour our lives, can be changed in an instant and that has a significant impact on our day to day behaviour.
With Matrix Reimprinting we have access to deeper levels of healing as needed. Once the trauma is discharged, and the ECHO is established in a new, much better picture, we go through a process to re-imprint that picture in the client’s mind, body and heart and then send it out into the Matrix. It’s hard to overstate how profound this can be to experience. Ideally, and most often, when my client looks back at the memory of the traumatic event, they automatically see the new picture and feel the lovely new positive feelings associated with it. And behind the scenes, their belief system has shifted which begins to change their entire experience of life.
I want to stress that we’re changing the picture for the benefit of the younger self. For the younger self the change is very real. We’re NOT denying that the actual event took place. As our adult selves we can always access the original memory if we wish, though the emotional distress will likely be gone. But now our younger self is no longer trapped, re-living the same horrible moment endlessly. Instead, when we look back we have the lovely new picture which becomes a source of pleasure and profound transformation for us.
I have yet to meet someone who didn’t benefit from this therapy. It is easy to grasp and when used by a competent practitioner, it can be effective at dealing with everything from PTSD to chronic pain and illness, addictions, phobias plus a host of other things.
